With Pentecost just a couple of days ago, and having just wrapped up the month of May, which is celebrated by the Church as the month of Mary, what better way to bring it all together! St. Joseph’s Garden Courts (1515 N. Alafaya Trail Orlando) is an affordable retirement community in Orlando for low-income seniors. In service to others, we will be hosting an afternoon of bingo for them. Come to help serve refreshments, assist with the game/prizes or to play some bingo with hem. Set-up will start at 12:45pm and the games will begin at 1:30pm.

MASS & DINNER ::: Come join us for 5pm Vigil Mass on May 16th at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church (our sponsor). After Mass, we’ll head over to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Women’s Retreat ::: “Jesus, our Life. Mary, our model.” This retreat on May 22-25th will be a beautiful, prayerful weekend, centered on Eucharistic Adoration. The retreat will focus on making Jesus Christ the center and love of our lives, approaching this relationship by walking with Mary, our spiritual mother and model of true feminine discipleship. John Paul II explains: “By looking to Mary, women can find in her the secret of living their femininity with dignity and of achieving their own true advancement in the light of Mary.” Other themes this retreat will explore are the healing of the feminine identity, the meaning of the call to be mother and bride, and growing in prayer. What is a Christian Seder Meal? It’s Christian version of the Jewish Passover Seder. This event will be a beautiful and powerful way to enter into Holy Week and learn the tradition of the Mass, (which is a representation of the Last Supper of our Lord with his apostles) where He instituted the sacrifice of the Mass and the priesthood.
